We are pleased to announce an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the American Red Cross (ARC) and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The update strengthens and expands the existing relationship with additional services available to local BSA councils, including units with discounts on full-service training agreements, as well as more traditional agreements from isse and service providers for Scouts who are already CRA instructors or who wish to become one to teach Scouts or recruiters. To start, call 1-888-304-6409 or fill out the form below today! Start-up costs are low and certification fees per person are low for each person trained with Red Cross course materials. Fees vary by class and are described in our resource portal for course principals and APAs. Yes, APS can perform any training for which they are certified by American Red Cross. Some of the programs that licensed providers can offer are Emergency Oxygen Management, Adult CPR, Aquatics, Asthma Inhaler Training, Automated External Defibrillation (AED), Babysitter Training, Basic Life Support (BLS), Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Epinephrine Auto-Injector, First Aid, Infant – Child CPR, Learn to Swim and Lifeguard. The transition is free and efficient. Just remember that to teach each American Red Cross course, you must first be linked to a current authorized American Red Cross provider or licensed training providers or be employed as a paid/volunteer trainer for the American Red Cross. This requirement is in addition to a current certified instructor.
